People often ask me, Why reptiles? and my only response is that I was born with this passion. My obsession with these amazing animals started at a very young age. I caught my first snake at the age of five under some cardboard in a field by the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma, Washington, and from then on I was hooked. Fortunately, my parents were very open-minded to my new found fascination. With the constant encouragement and support from them, I was able to let my passion grow.

My first pet snake was a ball python named Petey that was given to me by my parents. When I was fourteen, I successfully bred her and produced a clutch of seven healthy babies. Every year since this accomplishment, I have been breeding, incubating, and hatching baby snakes. I produced my first ball python morph, a ghost, at the age of seventeen. That following year, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to the Okavango River Delta in Botswana, Africa in order to study the Nile crocodile. This was a life changing experience for me, and it further deepened my enthusiasm for reptiles. In the spring of my senior year of High School, I began a project to GPS map Timber Rattlesnake dens throughout the Northeast. While this was a challenging task, it was perfect for me since I love to be outdoors. One of the results from this endeavor was being published in the book Rattlesnake Adventures: Hunting with the Oldtimers by John W. Kemnitzer, Jr.

In the following years, I have successfully begun my business of breeding and selling reptiles, and continuing to grow my collection. Today, my focus is centered on blood pythons and the Morelia genus. My greatest mission thus far has been raising my pair of Boelens Pythons. I am extremely intrigued by this amazingly intelligent species, and plan to work with them more in the future.
